First edition.  xviii, 484pp.  Green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine.  8vo.  Cloth rounded at corners and spine ends, single small bump on lower edge, a little tired.  Spotting on text block edges.  Ex lending library with bookplate on front paste down and lending sheet on rear endpaper, small indentation on page edge affecting frontispiece and title page, a few marks.  In a worn and torn dust wrapper, chapped at edges and some old tape residue on flaps, shelf worn.
