This really is an economy service – delivery can take up to 60 working days and there’s no tracking. But it is cheap and in our experience, very few parcels are lost or damaged.

All our delivery prices are based on an average book weight. We may request an additional charge for very heavy books. Upgrades to shipping options – such as tracking and compensation – are available upon request. We may upgrade your choice of shipping at our discretion and at our cost in respect of more valuable books.
After all these years in the book trade, we are expert book packers. Each book is packed individually, taking care to protect it at every stage of the dispatch and delivery process. The vast majority of books are sent in bespoke (environmentally-friendly) book boxes, designed for the purpose. Very small or delicate items may get some special, specific treatment. Large orders, such as those for multiple books, are packed in double-layered, strong cardboard boxes, with lots of protective filling around them.
At present, as part of our response to COVID-19 and to ensure only essential travel, books are dispatched once a week.
