First edition, first impression.  234pp.  Blue cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rounded at corners and spine ends, slightly faded at edges.  Upper text block edge toned, remaining edges a little spotted.  Thin strip of offset tanning on endpapers.  Gift inscription, dated 1958, on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original dust jacket, price clipped, a little rubbed on edges with some loss at base of spine, visible shelf wear on verso. Dust jacket in a removable, clear film sleeve.
