First edition, first printing. 252pp. In tan cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. Boards very slightly rounded at spine ends, mild foxing on text block edges and the very occasional, faint spot internally. The number ‘9’ neatly inked in corner of front free endpaper. In its original dust jacket, showing some minor discolouration on the rear fold and very mild shelf wear. Jacket now protected in a Brodart-style wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
