Volume II (of II) only. 464, [32] (index), [50] (index)pp, with six full page engravings. Fully bound in brown calf’s leather, six panelled spine. 8vo. Leather is heavily worn, rubbed on edges, scuffed with loss at corners, cracking along spine, marked, scratches on verso, with some small areas of loss and crumbling at spine head. Text block edges (once speckled?) toned and dark. Endpapers toned around edges and spotted, front free endpaper partially detached. Previous owner’s name inked on front free endpaper, another inked on flyleaf. Some faint and occasional spotting but in general the text block is remarkably clean and fresh.
