First edition, first impression.  224pp.  Book produced to War Economy Standards.  Brown cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  12mo.  Cloth is brushed and worn, a tad pushed at spine tips and corners.  Text block edges toned. Previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front free endpaper, a little faint spotting on endpapers. Minor signs of handling and aging throughout.  Dust wrapper chapped at edges, chipped on corners with minor loss at spine ends, some creasing and shelf worn with visible toning on verso. Dust jacket in an old and worn protective, removable clear film sleeve.
