The Idler was a montly literary and humerous magazine edited by Jerome K Jerome between 1892 and 1911. Highlights of the issues included in this collection include the first print edition of Conan Doyle’s short story, The Case of Lady Sannox (later published under the title The Kiss of Blood) and Jerome K Jerome’s comic memoir of his experiences on the stages, On the Stage and Off, which he later turned into a full length book published in 1885.
