Reissue.  320pp.  Red publisher’s cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little pushed and rounded on spine tips and corners.  Spotting on text block edges and endpapers else internally neat, clean and tight.  In its original illustrated paper dust jacket, rubbed and a little bumped at edges with minor crumbled loss at spine ends, shelf wear visible on verso.

A pleasingly vintage copy of this collection of interlocking stories, all set in the South Pacific, which won a Pulitzer Prize for their author, James Michener.
