First English Language edition, first printing.  xxxviii, 344pp.  Red cloth-covered boards, black lettering on front panel and the spine. 8vo.  Cloth is worn and faded, rubbed around edges and spine joints, gently rounded at corners and spine base, heavily rubbed and fraying at spine head.  Text block edges a little toned.  Front hinge weaken, slightly loosening front panel.  Some faint spotting on endpapers else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
