First edition, first impression.  xx, 188pp.  Red cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering to spine.  8vo.  Cloth is gently rounded at corners and spine ends.  Upper text block edge a little dull.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original paper dust wrapper, rubbed and chipped at edges with small area of loss on upper rear edge, a little toned.

This volume takes the doctrines of analogy and of existence as the guiding principles of a survey of the foundations of natural theology.  Mr Mascall writes from the standpoint of a 20th century Thomism, based on the concepts of Saint Thomas but taking into account post-Thomist thought.
