First UK edition, first impression.  458pp.  Green cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little dull, gently pushed at spine tips.  Faint and occasional spotting on text block edges.  Volume lacks the front free endpaper which has been nearly removed else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  Dust wrapper rubbed and lightly bumped on extreme edges with minor loss around corners and spine ends, a little shelf worn.  Dust jacket now protected in a removable clear film sleeve.
