Quarter bound in blue cloth cover grey paper-covered boards with red lettering on a paper spine label. Deckled page edges Large and heavy 4to. Covers are unevenly toned and marked, rubbed all round edges and around a sunned spine, gently rounded on corners and spine ends. Spine label toned and faded, slightly chipped on edges. Label from the John Crown collection of the Library of the University of Kent at Canterbury on front paste down – no other library markings. Previous owner’s name neatly inked on front free endpaper. Free endpapers heavily toned, paste downs less so. Some toning around deckled edges, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
Bibliographica was a periodical on books and book collecting published between 1895 and 1897. Edited by Alfred Pollard, the work was issued in 12 quarterly parts and subsequently collected into three volumes. This is the second of those volumes, containing parts V to VIII (that is four of the 12 quarterly issues).
