First thus. Stated ‘collector’s edition’. Variously paginated in parts, with a specially commissioned portrait plate frontispiece and vintage illustrations by Fritz Eichenberg in text. Bound in full bright red leather, three raised bands to spine and 22kt gilt stamped lettering and decorations. All edges gilt. Silk moire endpapers and yellow satin ribbon marker bound in. Smyth-sewn pages with decorative head band. Printed on archival-quality, acid-free paper which will not tan over time. 4to. Very slight tarnishing to gilded pages edges else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.
