First edition, first impression.  122pp.  In green cloth-covered boards, decorated, with black lettering on spine.  12mo.  Cloth is worn, gently rubbed, rounded and faded at corners and spine ends.  Hint of toning on endpapers, front free endpaper has short corner crease.  Gift inscription, dated 1946, neatly inked on front free endpaper else internally neat, clean and tight.  In its original worn and torn dust wrapper, with loss around spine ends, gently rubbed and chippeed  on corners, shelf worn.  Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
