Undated, circa 1890s. 80pp, 4pp publisher’s ads. Green cloth-covered boards; black design and gilt titles on front, black titles on spine. Bumped spine ends and bottom corners. 2cm of cloth torn at spine heel. Text block edges tanned and starting to fox. Gutter stretched at front endpapers. Gift inscription on front free endpaper. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring occasional foxing. No dust jacket. 16mo. Beautiful chapter head and tail pieces, and initial letters.
