Green cloth-covered boards with gilt text and black design on spine and gilt text plus black and gilt designs on front, bevelled edges. Folio. Spine rubbed at both ends, cloth slightly torn. Corners turned in with bottom rear being quite bad; cloth worn through. A little loose. Previous owner’s name and another owner’s stamp on front free end paper. Very, very mild foxing to prelim pages. Otherwise, clean and clear. Volume 2: viii, 366-716pp, with dozens of black and white photographs and illustrations. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt text and black design on spine and gilt text plus black and gilt designs on front, bevelled edges. Spine rubbed at both ends, cloth slightly torn. Corners turned in with rear corners worth; cloth worn through. A little loose. Previous owner’s stamp on front free end paper. Very, very mild foxing to prelim pages. Otherwise, clean and clear.
