1st ed, 1st imp. 190pp. Brown cloth boards with Mills and Boon motif (marked, rubbed, rounded at corners and spine tips). Ex library, with lending marks on front endpaper only, occasional spotting and fingering. Slight lean. In its original pictorial, almost very good, dust wrapper (a few small chips at edges, rubbed, crease to spine & minor loss at head of spine). Jane Arbor was the pseudonym of Eileen Norah Owbridge. She wrote 57 romances for Mills and Boon between1948 and 1985 – this being one of her very earliest. Many of her stories featured doctor and nurse relationships and several were later republished with different titles including medical words. This is a very hard to find title.
