Not dated but c 1870 (there is a reference in the book to the opening of a local railway line in 1862). 36pp, decorated initial caps and a few in-text illustrations. In a later binding, quarter brown cloth over grey cloth-covered boards, original pamphlet stapled. A couple of folds on the original pamphlet. Staples oxidised. 12mo. Netherdale, in Yorkshire, is now known as Nidderdale.
