First edition, first impression. x, 218pp, with maps and plentiful monochrome illustrations. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on the spine. Maps on endpapers. 8vo. Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout barring a faint pencilled annotation on the front free endpaper stating ‘On loan from Robert’. In its original illustrated, glossy dust wrapper. which appears to be in fine condition under its Brodart-style protective wrapper. There is a little roughness in the Brodart covering along the rear fold and rear lower edge, with some minor scattered indentations on the rear panel.
