Cloth very slightly bruised at spine ends else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.

A vibrant and eye-catchingly pleasing first edition, first impression copy of the ‘Rune’ deluxe binding of the first book of the Elder Curses trilogy.  Featuring red wibalin boards decorated with a blue foil repeating pattern of the Malec Rune and an impression of Cassandra Clare’s signature centred in a Shadowhunter’s motif on the title page.  The Rune edition also includes an exclusive chapter, How Magnus and Catarina Met, not included in trade editions. 

This copy also comes with an ‘Exclusive Sneak Peek’  of The Red Scrolls of Magic, described as an ‘exclusive limited edition sampler for Waterstones with unfinalised text.  The Sneak Peek is a 28pp stapled booklet in light card covers containing a preview section of the book, a brief introduction to Cassandra Clare, and illustrations of some of the various editions available of some of Clare’s Shadowhunter books.  The booklet has a little gentle edge wear to card covers and one page has a crease over the corner, otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.
