Not dated but c 1930. Blue cloth boards (a little rubbed and faded at edges). 92pp plus publisher’s adverts bound in at rear. Issued as part of Nelson’s ‘Captain’ series. Occasional faint scattered spotting. There’s an attractive prize presentation plate on the front paste down, indicating the book was awarded to Ruby Hoyles (?) by Aylesford Methodist Junior Guild in 1936. In its original, rare variant, dust jacket, unclipped (rubbed, crumbled at spine ends and bumped on corners, lightly sunned around spine). Slightly uncommon title, very hard to find in the Captain Series with this variant dust jacket.
