First edition, first printing.  192pp, one section of colour plate illustrations and further black and white illustrations, plans and maps etc in text.  8vo.  Black cloth-covered boards with gilt titles to spine.  There is a slight strain to the gutter ahead of the title page else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original illustrated dust wrapper, price clipped and very slightly rubbed at corners and spine ends.  Dust jacket now protected in a Brodart-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
