224pp. Grey cloth covered boards (slightly soiled, corners rounded, rubbed around spine joints, beginning to fray at spine tips). Lending sheet on fragile front free endpaper. Occasional spotting. Several pages have small nicks and chaps at base or leading edge (not affecting text) and signs of fingering. Old tape repairs between a couple of pages. Date stamps on rear endpaper. Softening throughout. In its original dust jacket, art work by J F Campbell, rubbed and a little chipped at edges, creased and sunned on spine, shelf wear visible on verso and a couple of old tape repairs on reverse.
