Illustrated endpapers.  8vo.  Cloth very slightly rubbed at spine tips else neat, clean, bright and tight.  Previous owner’s bookplate opposite the title page, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  Glossy, illustrated dust wrapper, not price clipped, just a little bumped on extreme edges and slightly shelf worn.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.  

A compelling collection of Sitwell’s later essays, including one regarding his recollections of Queen Mary, whom he knew personally.  Harold Acton provides an affection memoir of Sitwell in the foreword to this edition.
