Puppet on a Chain

First edition, first impression.  256pp.  Speckled blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  Cloth a little rubbed on edges, gently rounded at corners and spine ends.  Some indentations and marks on spine.  Upper text block edge spotted, remaining edges a little toned.  Quite heavy spotting on endpapers, and a previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front paste down, else internally neat, clean and tight.  In its original shelf worn and lightly edge rubbed dust jacket, not price clipped.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
