Not dated but likely 1950s. Red cloth boards, black titles to spine, in a period pictorial dust jacket (lightly rubbed and a little faded on spine, DJ chipped along edges, softening and small paper scar on front). DJ protected in removable, archival quality mylar wrapper. Internally neat and clean but some page toning and cracked between half title and title page. The Thriller Book Club was one of several book clubs established by the famous London Booksellers, Foyles, in the 1930s and 1940s. It issued quality contemporary fiction from both new and established authors in the club’s genre. James Hadley Chase was a pen name of Ren� Lodge Brabazon Raymond.
