First edition, first printing. 330pp with in text black and white line diagrams throughout. Black vinyl-covered boards. Silver gilt titles on the spine. 8vo. Slightly rubbed and rounded corners, and a library stamp on the lower text block edge. Internally, there are signs of careless pocket removal, resulting in paper scars on the front pastedown endpaper. Slight cracking in the binding on page 64, causing minimal looseness.. A university of Glasgow library stamp on the copyright page. Otherwise neat, clean, bright and tight.
