Text in French. Undated but circa 1915. Volume five (of six) only from Nelson’s Lutetia edition of the complete works of Moliere. 444, [4]pp, with a monochrome plate frontispiece. Cream cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering and decoration. Illustrated endpapers. 16mo. Cloth boards are are toned at edges with some minor indentations, gently rounded at spine ends. A little browning and spotting to text block edges. Previous owner’s name neatly inked on slightly toned endpapers, very occasional spotting and very mild toning internally, with the occasional sign of handling. In its original dust wrapper, faded over spine, rubbed and a little chapped on edges , some scuffing with minor loss a spine heel. The original pricing has been over-labelled on both the front panel and the spine: the label on the spine is chipped and faded, that on the upper panel is scuffed with some loss.
