Undated (circa 1940s). Black cloth-covered boards; yellow titles on spine. 12mo. Sun-faded spine, titles fading. Boards bent, volume cupped and cocked. Rubbed corners and spine ends. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Company stamp “Ray Smith Ltd, Farringdon Street, London” to beginning of Chapter One and to last page of book. Internally neat, clean and tight. Undated but printed to War Economy Standards.
