First edition, first impression. x, 528pp, with some maps in text. Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. Volume is neat. clean, bright and tight, with a previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front free endpaper. In its original laminated dust wrapper, unevenly faded, quite heavily so around spine. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
