Quarter bound in green cloth over grey-green card-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine (boards are strong, clean and square, lightly rubbed and rounded at spine ends). Text block edges slightly tanned. Internally a hint of page toning, else neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket (just lightly rubbed at base of spine, very slightly bumped along upper edge). The dust jacket is now protected in an archival-quality mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Leonard Cyril Deighton is a British author whose works include cookery books, history and military history, but he is best known for his spy novels, including the series featuring the unnamed Harry Palmer.
