Maigret’s Failure

First UK edition, first printing.  154pp.  Red cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering on spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends.  Some faint spotting and mild shadows on text block edges.  There’s a small corner crease over the lower leading corner of the front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original illustrated matte dust jacket, price clipped, rubbed all rounded edges and folds with a little chipping on corners and spine ends, with minor loss at spine head and over rear lower leading corner.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
