Two volumes, both 1988 reprints. v, 480pp, with a map; xii, 510pp, with monochrome frontispiece and further black and white plates at rear. Both volumes in black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vos. Some spotting and soiling to text block edges; cloth on both volumes a little rounded at corners else neat, tight and clean. Dust jackets a little shelf worn and toned, gently bumped on edges; that on ‘Egypt’ is a bit faded all over and that on ‘Greece’ faded on spine.
