Spine somewhat faded, a little rubbed at corners, crushed at spine tips. Occasional spotting on front endpapers, some tanning to rear endpapers, else lovely clean, bright and tight internally. Super handsome volume. Lalla Rookh, four narrative poems, forms an Oriental romance. Written by Irish poet Thomas Moore and first published in 1817, the title comes from the heroine of the story arch, the daughter of the 17th-century Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb.
