In full black French Morocco soft leather, with gilt titles from and spine, all edges gilt, printed on India paper, black satin ribbon marker bound in, black endpapers. Presented in two slipcases, one slotting inside the other, ensuring the Bible is protected all round. The inner slipcase is plain except for a label on spine identifying the work at the King James Version, Standard Text Bible, and some publication details. The outer slipcase is pictorial, showing a scene from Cambridge. 8vo. The Bible is in near fine condition, there is a short, mild corner crease to one page. In the inner slipcase is also near fine. The outer slipcase has some minor shelf wear. The volume contains both the Authorised, King James version of the old and new testaments, together with a concise reading plan at rear, setting out a course to read the entire text in two years. A truly stunning volume.
