In its original glossy, illustrated dust wrapper, not price clipped, rubbed on corners, lightly bumped on extreme edges, and a lightly shelf worn.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.

A posthumously published anthology of 27 previously uncollected short stories with themes ranging from robbers to murders, many of which feature Gilbert’s recurring characters – Patrick Petrella, Hazelrigg, Calder and Behrens.  Gilbert (died 2006) was a solicitor and a well-regarding author of crime fiction
