Quarter bound in deep green cloth over green card-covered boards with red lettering to spine and author’s initials on front board (boards are strong, clean and square, lightly rubbed and rounded at spine ends). Text block edges slightly tanned. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (just lightly rubbed at base of spine, very slightly bumped along upper edge). The dust jacket is now protected in an archival-quality mylar wrapper, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives. Leonard Cyril Deighton is a British author whose works include cookery books, history and military history, but he is best known for his spy novels, including the series featuring the unnamed Harry Palmer.
