Not dated but circa 1930. 64pp stapled booklet in illustrated card covers, illustrated with line drawings. 12mo. Covers a little worn, slightly rubbed on corners and spine ends. Rear cover shows some shelf wear. Internally, barring some very gentle rounding of page corners, it’s neat, clean, bright and tight. An interesting wee volume examining the practice and history of brush-making, with chapters on topics such as The Origin of the Brush; Early Brush-making Materials; Evolution of the Household Brush; Vegetable Fibres; Brush Backs and Modern Brushing Making. Lovely line drawing illustrations. A hard to find title on an interesting if niche subject.
