Undated but likely 1940s (volume produced in accordance with War Economy Standard). 224pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and three further monochrome plates interleafed in text. Blue cloth-covered boards with cream lettering front and spine. Top edge sprayed blue. 12mo. Cloth is worn, a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, marked and rubbed around edges. Very slightly skew. Unsprayed edges lightly spotted. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Pictorial matte dust jacket, rubbed and chipped at edges and joints, with some visible shelf wear on rear panel, not price clipped. Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
