First edition, first impression.  528pp.  Red cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on the spine. 8vo.  Cloth very slightly rubbed at spine tail.  Hint of dustiness to text block edges.  Gift inscription neatly inked on the front free endpaper else neat, clean, bright and tight internally.  In its original illustrated dust wrapper, worn and fraying along upper edge, a little bumped and rubbed on lower edge.
