Jenny Spring

First edition, first impression. Book manufactured in accordance with war economy standards.  260pp, with colour plate frontispiece and further line drawing illustrations in text.  Green cloth-covered boards with red lettering and red decoration on upper panel.  12mo.  Cloth covers are a little tired, gently shelf worn, rounded at corners and spine ends, with a few minor indentation on edges and a little bubbling on rear panel.  Text block edges a little toned.  Gift inscription inked on the front free endpaper and previous owner’s name inked on the front paste down, both neatly done, else internally neat and clean with a few minor signs of use.
