[1038].  First edition, first impression.  250, [6]pp, with monochrome frontispiece and one further full page monochrome illustration, one folding chart bound in, and numerous loose leaf plate illustrations in pocket on rear paste down.  There is also a small photograph of a young lady, labelled F Sechez, 1922, in the pocket but it is not clear whether this was issued with volume or has been added later.  Green cloth-covered boards with black lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth is worn and faded, especially around spine, rubbed and cracked and fraying on spine joints and rubbed and rounded on corners.  Text block edges a little toned.  Some pencil annotations of front endpapers, together with small bookseller’s ticket; rear endpapers toned, with the final few leaves showing some damage on extreme edges. Rear hinge fully cracked, front hinge partially so, hence boards loosening and wobbly although volume remains square and text block tight.

This is Weston’s virulent condemnation of occultism and all non-christian faiths, triggered it appears by his revulsion for the Second Congress of the World Fellowship of Faiths which took place in London in 1936.  At times bitterly anti-Semetic, other groups, including occultists such as Aleister Crowley and freemasons, are not spared his suspicion or criticism.

Hard to find ittle, especially in its first edition, complete with plates.
