Translated from the third German language edition; and previously published in 1937 in English under the title Four Years of Hitler Germany. 432pp, with portrait plate frontispiece (showing Adolf Hitler) and 12 further maps and charts in text, 92pp (supplement, entitled The New Germany in Pictures and comprising 191 black and white photographic images of Hitler’s German and its leaders). Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering front and spine. Cloth covers a little worn, rubbed on corners and spine ends and joints, lightly sunned over the spine. A little spotting on text block edges. Previous owner’s stamp om front free endpaper, endpapers a little spotted. Hint of toning in page margins and gutter; short tear at top of the frontispiece very close to gutter and not affecting image.

A propagandist work emerging from Nazi Germany designed to promote a view of Germany was peaceful to the wider world, issued in the late 1930s. Please note, this the full and complete edition and not the more common and heavily abridged softcover issued at much the same time.
