First edition, first printing.  x, 400pp, with one colour plate illustration.  Blood red cloth=covered boards with white lettering on green title labels front and spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little shelf worn, gently rounded at corners and spine tips, short slight crease across spine head.  Text block edges faintly foxed.  Creased front paste down and a little toning at page margins, else internally neat, clean, and tight.  Small bookseller’s ticket on front paste down.  In its original shelf worn and edge-chapped dust wrapper, just a little toned in places.  Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
