Written in German. 184pp, illustrated with many facsimile reproductions of music composers’ handwritten musical scores and notation. Black publisher’s cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine, gilt motif on front panel. Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original illustrated paper dust wrapper, very slightly bumped at the base of the spine. Presented in a bespoke, plain card slipcase. The slipcase is a little rubbed around edges with a few mild marks.

A handsome and imposing volume.
