Roth’s memoirs and reflections regarding his father, as his father faces a diagnosis of a brain tumour surrounded by his gaggle of vibrant and diverse Jewish elders.  Roth travels each step of the journey with his father.  An immensely emotional and painful narrative, at times also scathing, as Roth faces the dilemma of how his father’s life might end.
