All issues of the monthly journal The Fireman and Journal of the Civil Protective Forces of the United Kingdom from July 1898 to June 1899, bound into a single volume. Quarter bound in deep red leather over deep red cloth-covered boards, gilt design on front panel. 4to. Covers are worn, rubbed at edges, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, with some indentations and breaks in cloth. Some marks and scars, with ‘Press Dept’ written in the top right corner, slightly soiled. Endpapers toned and brittle, with cloth colouring leached at edges. Some mild toning to issue pages.

Included in this bound set is the index to the preceding volume of the journal.
