First edition, first impression. viii, 266pp, five black and white plates. Green cloth-covered boards; black titles on front and spine; top text block edge sprayed green. 8vo. Signature bound. Sun-faded spine and joints of covers, lightly bumped spine ends; lightly cocked. White paint drops on rear cover; small dent towards top of rear fore-edge. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges starting to tan; untrimmed. Endpapers tanning. Prelim pages foxing. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Further twenty eight in-text, black and white plates throughout. Some of the uncut pages were previously poorly detached; some damage to page margins.
