Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. John Master’s personal story, intimate and direct. It is only incidentally a war book as the principle theme is personal growth, but nevertheless a large part of it is concerned with Masters’ experiences of the second world war, a professional officer concerned with both the theory of war and its bloody actuality.
