First edition, first impression. 426pp, with black and white illustrations, figures and diagrams in text. Silver paper-covered boards with metallic blue lettering on spine. Black endpapers. 8vo. Boards are lightly bumped on extreme corners and spine tips, slightly shelf worn. Hint of shadowing to upper text block edge. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original worn dust jacket, rubbed and chipped at edges with a circa 3 inch closed tear along the front fold, shelf worn.
